Guan Youfei Visited the Recovered Clean Land-Exhibition on the Disposal of Chemical Weapons Abandoned by Japan in ChinaSource: the website of MND.

On October 20, the Recovered Clean Land-Exhibition on the Disposal of Chemical Weapons Abandoned by Japan in China, which was hosted by the MFA JACW Office and the MND JACW Office, organized by the Memorial Hall of the Victims in Nanjing Massacre by Japanese Invaders, and co-organized by the Foreign Affairs Office of Jiangsu Provincial People's Government, opened in Nanjing.

Guan Youfei, deputy head of the JACW steering group and head of the CMC Office for International Military Cooperation, Cai Hong, head of the MFA JACW Office, and Jing Zhizhen, a survivor in Nanjing Massacre attended and addressed the opening ceremony together with about 200 representatives from different sectors. 40 university students read the Declaration of Peace at the opening ceremony.

This is the third exhibition following that in Beijing and Changchun. Nanjing is the city where Japanese invaders committed grave crimes and also the city that firstly practiced and successfully completed JACW mobile destruction based on the consensus reached by the leaders of China and Japan. Holding the exhibition in Nanjing aims to reveal Japanese invaders' crime of using chemical weapons, display the actual scene of JACW disposal, and manifest the fearlessness of JACW disposal staff, their selfless contributions and determination to“Recover Clean Land to People”as early as possible. The exhibition would be open till November 20.
