Power supply

The power supply is the source of electricity for the project. For most of the experiments in this book, the power supply will be some low-voltage DC power supply like the power sources discussed in the Powering the Arduino section of Chapter 1, The Arduino. We will also show how to use a 12V battery to power DC motors using a motor controller board in the later chapters of this book.
