Timestamps
WordPress also lets you alter the timestamp of any given post. This is useful if you are writing a post today that you wish could have been published yesterday, or if you're writing a post in advance and don't want it to show up until the right day.
By default, the timestamp will be set to the present time. To change that, click on the main Publish button and then do the necessary changes in the box responsible for handling the publication date. Refer to the following screenshot:
Once you set the date you want, the main Publish button might change its label to Schedule (if you're scheduling a post to be published at a later date). Click that button to save your changes.
