1　General Provisions

1.0.1　This Code is developed for standardizing the design of static explosion prevention for particulate solids silo in petrochemical plants，to prevent the particulate solids silo from electrostatic blasting，avoid occurrence of secondary disasters，and protect human and property safety.

1.0.2　This Code is applicable to engineering design of static explosion prevention for particulate solids silo in new construction，renovation and extension of petrochemical plants.This Code is not applicable to the silos with enclosed system under protection of nitrogen，whose oxygen content is controlled strictly.

1.0.3　In addition to this Code，other applicable current national codes and standards shall be complied in the design of static explosion prevention for particulate solids silo in petrochemical plants.
