1　General Provisions

1.0.1　This code is developed to strengthen construction quality management for petrochemical projects，standardize requirements for construction quality acceptance of insulation in petrochemical engineering（hereinafter referred to as the"Insulation Work"），and guarantee insulation construction quality.

1.0.2　This code is applicable to the construction quality acceptance of the external insulation for equipment and piping with design temperature between-196℃and 850℃in new construction，extension and renovation projects in the petrochemical industry.

1.0.3　In addition to this code，the construction quality acceptance of insulation in petrochemical industry shall also comply with the relevant requirements in other current national codes and standards.
